Tura Estate Winery
Also known as Samaria, the Shomron region is home to a number of high quality vineyards, which grow their grapes in the area's signature rocky soil, combining ancient agriculture and modern methods to create delicious wines. Located in Rehelim, Tura welcomes visitors for compelling tours and tastings.
The winery was established in 2003 to produce wines from a vineyard in the town of Har Bracha, located near Mount Gerizim. The vineyard's elevation, westerly winds and morning fogs result in exceptional grapes.
The winery produces 15,000 bottles of wine each year. The wine is aged for three years before it is bottled and sent to the market. This process makes the winery one of the best boutique wineries in the country, and it has won several awards over the years. In 2012, the winery was awarded both the gold and the silver medals in the annual Golden Grapes competition held in Israel.
Tura Estate Winery is owned by a single family, which also produces high-quality olive oil with remarkably low acidity and apples which are sold to organic shops across Israel.
At the visitors' center you will have the opportunity to learn about the winemaking process, the special grapes and aging processes favored by Tura. You’ll also get to know the beautiful hills of the Shomron and hear about modern Israeli agriculture. Taste the delicious wines and purchase some bottles at discounted prices.
